UFC 136 - Edgar vs Maynard - Results and GIFs

Prior to this fight, Edgar and Maynard have fought two separate times before. Maynard beating him the first time, both men getting a draw the 2nd time, and now, Frankie Edgar getting the decisive TKO victory the third. It was a great main event that showed heart and comeback.

Main Bouts (On Pay-Per-View)
Frankie Edgar def. Gray Maynard via TKO - Round 4, 3:54
Wow, what can I say about this fight, what an amazing comeback by Frankie Edgar. He got teed off in the 1st round, bringing back memories of their 2nd fight, but managed yet again to come back in the 2nd, 3rd, and finally end it in the 4th round. Maynard injured Edgar yet again in the 1st, and couldn't finish it. The 2nd round he kind of just coasted while letting Frankie recovery from his injuries. Then in the 4th round Frankie catches Maynard with a hook that sends him to the canvas, and follows up with some ground and pound.

Jose Aldo def. Kenny Florian via unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 49-46)
I'm going to be honest, I was expecting an exciting fight between two hard hitting fighters but what I saw was a boring gameplan employed by Florian to try to go for takedown after takedown. Nothing noteworthy really from the fight, so I'll the save the GIFs. This was yet another failed contender fight for Kenny, I wonder what the future holds for him.

Chael Sonnen def. Brian Stann via submission (arm-triangle choke) - Round 2, 3:51
Chael came in and worked his gameplan almost immediately, coming at Stann and securing the takedown. We all knew Stann had problems with wrestlers in the best, and he was facing one of the best wrestlers in MMA. Sonnen worked some ground n pound in the 1st round, and did the same in the 2nd until he saw the opening for the arm triangle choke. He made the fight look very easy, as Stann had nothing for him.
Nam Phan def. Leonard Garcia via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)
Like everyone expected, this was a slug-fest and a brawl. Leonard actually looked pretty technical up until the later rounds, but Nam Phan was working the body really well. Luckily Phan wasn't robbed like in his last fight. The fight itself won fight of the night honors and had the crowd booming.

Joe Lauzon def. Melvin Guillard via submission (rear-naked choke) - Round 1, 0:47
Talk about an explosive fight. I think Lauzon was the huge underdog here since Melvin has been on a tear, and his striking is underrated. Well Melvin got really cocky and got caught with a punch, and Lauzon immediately took his back and sunk the choke.
