After suffering his most recent loss to the hands of UFC welterweight champion Anderson Silva, Vitor Belfort was slated to fight the iron jaw/iron puncher in Yoshiro Akiyama. Akiyama has also been on a slide, losing to Chris Leben via triangle choke, and Michael Bisping in a 3 round decision.

Broke my heart when Silva knocked him out with that front kick. Maybe he should hang it up, I dunno I guess we'll see at his next fight.

Impressive physique. MMA is said to be the ultimate martial arts mixture - the one that 'always works'. Looking at these pictures makes me believe so.
