Fedor Emelianenko
MMA Record: 31 wins - 3 losses - 1 No Contest
- Knockouts: 8
- Submissions: 16
- Decisions: 6
Notable Ranks: Grand Master in Sambo
Notable Wins: Andrei Arlovski, Tim Sylvia, Mark Coleman, Mirko 'CroCop', Antonio Nogueria
At one point in his career, Fedor Emelianenko, was unofficially undefeated. His career record was 31-1, with the one loss due to a doctor stoppage on cuts. As he tore through Pride in what many think was his career prime, he was considered by many the best MMA fighter in the world.
Times have changed for Fedor though, as he has dropped two fights in a row to good competition. His first true loss came to a triangle choke to Fabricio Werdum, and his 2nd was a brutal TKO loss to Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva. He faces a fellow legend, Dan Henderson, in what could be a deciding fight for his career.

I might actually tune in to this one after all this stuff I've heard from you.
I'm a big fan of his, but I'm starting to believe he's either past his prime, or he's just never faced top level competition. I don't think that you can judge his career by his Hendo fight coming up, but I do hope at some point, we can see him face any of the UFC's top level fighters. I'd hope he could destroy them too.
@braumaman I only put that there because there was some news from Fedor's manager that he might retire if he loses his upcoming bout. It was poorly worded so I understand the confusion. He's faced top level competition in prime but I do think he's out of his prime.
dude's a beast
he's pretty good.
he does have a scary record. of course that might work agaisnt him. players who lose a lot have to learn the hard way, and the hard lessons always stick.
that's crazy! :O
like the new blog look m8
Whoa, he does seem like a decent fighter to say the least! It's on, I guess but personaly i'm betting on Henderson.
